Description / Expertise

Very lovely wood carving in this tea tray. Most of the trays have marqueterie and hardly any carving. This one is just the opposite, no marqueterie , but only carving. The handle is carved on the in and out side with a flower decoration. I can imagine that a collector would put some of his Galle vases on the tray to make a total presentation.
