Kingfisher Galle cabinet

Kingfisher Galle cabinet, the luxury version.

In the past 30 years that  I have been an antique dealer I have had only once the luxury version.

I sold it many years ago to a client and recently I had the opportunity to buy it back.

It has four bronze feet and an extra marqueterie dragonfly on top and the marqueterie inside the cabinet is of the highest quality.

Only once in a life time you get the chance to acquire such a beautiful piece. You can find a picture of the normal version in many books, but I have never found this one.
