Daum square Magnolia vase

Daum square Magnolia vase 20 cm high. This vase has four sides and on every side there is a different stage of blooming of the Magnolia flower.

A very inspiring vase which you don't see very often. All the flowers are wheel engraved, so cut by hand which is a difficult and time consuming work. 

Which also means that no two vases are the same. In Japan the Magnolia flower was for the emporer. The beautiful red color in this vase is made by gold metal oxydes.
