Charles Schneider large black olive vase

Charles Schneider large black olive vase, 43 cm.

For me this is one of the most beautiful designs Schneider made. 

The contrasting colors, the finesse, the workmanship of applying the hot glass to make the decoration.

The wheelcarving to bring out the lines, the polishing to make it shine. It is just beautiful.

Inside the vase there is a small air bubble, not visible from the outside. Airbubbles are accepted as they are part of the mouth blowing job.
