Tortoise display cabinet made by maison Franck in 1920 (Belgium 1920)Description / ExpertiseWe had this display cabinet for many years in our own showroom. We used it to put the glass in. It is a lovely cabinet made in 1920 by a Belgium firm Maison Franck. This firm had connections in China and that is why they could import tortoise shields to use on their tables and cabinets. It is not in a perfect condition. The tortoise has some wear and the wood has been treated against woodworms. But still it is a lovely cabinet and it can serve another lifetime for a collector.
